King Abdulaziz Scholarship for Pakistani Students – 2015
Students who want to pursue a MS or a PhD degree can now avail this scholarship at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia 2014 and 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Applicants must be less than 30 years old for a Master’s program and must be less than 35 years for a Phd program at King Abdulaziz University.
• Applicants from Pakistan must have taken one of the following English language standardised tests: TOEFL (PBT), TOEFL (CBT), TOEFL (IBT) or IELTS and scored at least 500, 171, 61 or 5 respectively. Moreover these tests must be taken within the last two years.
• Pakistani students must be fluent in Arabic if they want to pursue Islamic or Arabic studies at King Abdulaziz university.
• Pakistani applicants must submit two academic references from former professor’s who tutored them at an earlier university.
• All certificates, transcripts, degrees and documents must be attested by Saudi embassy in Pakistan.

Duration of scholarship: 1 year

1. A monthly stipend of SR 1,900 (approximately Rs. 60,000)
2. A one time settling allowance of SR 1,800 (approximately Rs. 54,000)
3. Complete Health care along with free accommodation and facilities
4. Subsidized food
5. PhD students from Pakistan will get SR 4,000 (Rs. 120,000) and SR 3.000 (Rs. 90,000) for masters program for printing their research thesis
6. SR 2,700 (Rs. 84,000) for books
8. One return ticket every year to and from Pakistan
Selection Criteria: Applicants from Pakistan must have a perfect academic and behavioral record. They must be proficient in English language since all the courses are taught in English in the university. Moreover Pakistani students must be well versed in their field of interest.
